Capturing the attraction of true “Hip Hoppers” and “Musical Connoisseurs” might be a difficult task for many artists. Chicago-based rapper J dot Scarlett has transcended Chicago Hip-Hop with his witty word-play and unique style of Hip Hop. J dot Scarlett also known as Paper Planes was born in Boston, but moved to Chicago soon after. He was raised on Chicago’s southeast side which would introduce and force him into
Chase Baker, born Curtis Small in Bedford-Stuyvesant Brooklyn NY, in the Lafayette Gardens project houses. He grew-up with the familiar life of most urban kids in America; jail, drugs and gang affiliation. Fortunately, Chase had natural skill sets that helped see him get out of his rough neighborhood. His reputation in the streets for being a talented but unpolished basketball player brought him the opportunity and chance to go to school. First he attended Prep School in North Carolina, and then College at Southampton University in Long Island NY. This was a critical, and possibly life saving turn of events for a kid that had dropped out of school in year 9, and lived life in the streets.
Almost immediately after graduating with a Bachelors Degree in Business Management in 2002, Chase was able to do what most athletes’ dream of, play basketball at a professional level. After playing professionally for four seasons for a small country town in Australia, he moved to the big city of Melbourne. This is where he realized his opportunities in music. He was always able to put words together, but it wasn't until he met friend and fellow artist Kid Mac that he realized he could actually do it.
Kid Mac was a locally established artist that Chase saw perform at a club when he first came to Melbourne, he was so impressed that he knew he really wanted to become an artist. Kid Mac introduced Chase Baker to his producer and president of their music label, Jamaka, and the connection was made. Shortly after joining the label Too Much Variety Records (TMV) as a solo artist, development began focusing on all aspects of a true global artist.
Having such a great work ethic and a strong resolve to being the best, Chase rapidly became a formidable lyricist, rapper and performer. The word began to spread about this new kid in town, followed by respect from the Hip Hop community. Baker continued to show growth in his songwriting, delivery and performances. In 2008 TMV released the "New Kid On Ya Block" Mixtape, featuring Chase Baker and mixed by DJ Kay Z and mid 2010 released "Rise Of The Underdog" mixed by N.Y.'s Power 105's DJ Ty Boogie. People really began to take notice and these Mixtapes were an immediate threat to the competition.
Chase Baker wrote and recorded songs for TMV’s first commercial release, ‘TOO MUCH VARIETY The Album’ on which he features on five tracks. Baker has now turned his attention to his debut album; with over 60+ original songs recorded, he has an extensive song/music catalog to choose from.
Since the launch of TMV’s Live Campaign in 2008 Chase had extensive stage experience performing in over One Hundred live shows, including support for major artists such as Xzibit, Boys II Men, Lloyd, Blackstreet, Redman & Method Man, Savage, Tank and Ron Browz.
In Chase's return to the U.S. he has been interviewed and featured on online radio shows and blogs in the Underground Hip-Hop Community such as www.E.ZeeRadioLive.com, www.DaMatrixStudios.com and www.MFIRRadio.com to name a few.
Chase Baker is soon to become a household name in the Hip Hop Community because of his hard work and dedication as well as loyalty to his family, supporters, music and worldwide fan base.

"I'm representing Queens but I was raised out in Jersey", 29yr old Soul R&B singer WynterStar always says. The age of 5 is the earliest time Star can remember wanting to sing. "Music has always been an escape for me. My life isn't exactly a fairy tale". Adopted at 3, Star grew up in Bergen County, NJ.
Never seeming to stay out of trouble, she found herself at a Christian Home for troubled teens in Upstate NY where she found her voice. By the age of 15, she was singing, recording, touring stateside & Abroad in the school's Gospel group. "Oh I miss touring! We would travel ALL over the US & Canada performing in front of hundreds sometimes thousands of people! Schools, Churches, Hotels, Banquets, Public Places, wherever!". Four years later, she returned to New Jersey & met her fiancée, partner & manager.
After meeting my fiancée Randy, I knew which direction I wanted my music to go. He taught me how to play the keyboard and to song write. I was always a poet, but he taught me how to translate that poetry melodically. Now WynterStar portrays powerful lyrics about life & the issues facing today's society." All I can say is her honest, raspy voice will captivate you and her lyrics will make you think.
Now moving forward into 2011, DO look forward to her LONG AWAITED Project “Melodies & Basslines” EP releasing 2nd Quarter.
This Dame also is Co-Ceo along w/ her fiancée in their event planning company, The eXponent. John Graham (Born John G. Graham Jr.) has been involved with music since 1996 when he first realized his gift of freestyle. Born in Phoenix Arizona and raised all over the country he has experienced many different regional cultures as well as musical styles. However, it wasn’t until he moved to the Philadelphia metro area in 1998 to attend Lincoln University that he would meet some of the most influential M.C.’s that would water the soil for his passion for music to grow.
He is not seeking world-wide notoriety as the next big thing in entertainment. His motivation is pure and from a foundation of love and light. John’s intention is to create music that will open dialogue between all races, cultures, political affiliations, and beyond as we all must face issues that supersede any of the things that keep us divided. His smooth delivery and ability to speak to the inner being of his listener ensures that no matter what you look like on the outside, you will feel the power of a message that is nothing short of inspiring to the individual within!
